Wikipedia

So, as I commented earlier, I'd be doing some digging...and Wikipedia is an awesome source for stuff that doesn't neccesarily matter...for example, this topic, and all the employees that were noteworthy while working for TV Stations in Omaha. The first station I'm paying attention to is KETV (Channel 7)...it's my favorite, so I decided to start there. While I didn't have the time to make a complete list, here is a partial one....

Peter Van Sant (1977-1978) was a general assignment reporter, he is currently on 48 Hours Mystery (1998). Van Sant has had numerous past stints. He was a correspondent for the CBS News with Dan Rather, working out of the Northeast Bureau. He also appeared on the show "Public Eye with Bryant Gumbel."

Cindy Andrew, a reporter-turned-Real Estate woman, is doing just that...selling Real Estate in Omaha, NE.

Andrea Bredow, former morning weather personality and "welcome back AND good morning!" girl, is currently working at Creighton University.

Margaret Bumann, one of the finest (in my opinion) female journalists, has taken a gig with the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Public Affairs division. To see some of her new work, click here.

Daria Albinger who, at one point in time had an unknown job at KETV, is doing her part on the ABC Radio News network.

First Post....

Unfortunately, I do not have anything wise to post at this moment. I just decided that with all of the News Anchors that have come in and out of Omaha, that it would be fun to see what they are doing now, or what they look like now. So, I started out on the quest, tonight, searching for them.

I'll post what I can when I can, so check back often for new posts! :)
